Writers Write, Inc. Announces Launch of Online University for Writers
Writers Write®, the Internet's largest resource for writers announces the launch of its new educational division, Writers Write University. An online registration form and details about classes can be found online at: http://www.writerswrite.com/wwu/.
The online courses will make use of the interactive possibilities available with Internet technology. Each of the classes are taught entirely online. Live sessions utilize a state of the art chat server, which allows users to log in with any browser. Classes also include personalized critiques of each student's work. Students for each course will also have access to a private, passworded area on writerswrite.com where they can read messages from the instructor and from other students. The first two classes are: Your Rocket Ride to a Full-Time Writing Career, taught by award-winning screenwriter and author Skip Press (Writer's Guide to Hollywood Producers, Directors and Screenwriters' Agents, 1999-2000, Prima Publishing), and Writing Short Stories That Sell -- Parts I and II, taught by British literary and crime author Alex Keegan, whose prize-winning short stories have appeared in numerous publications such as The Atlantic, and whose mystery series starring policewoman "Caz" Flood was nominated for an Anthony Award, will show students how to write publishable short stories.
WWU is also offering for purchase materials from its popular Online Seminar, taught by Emmy Award-winning writer/producer and bestselling novelist Stephen J. Cannell, author of King Con and Riding the Snake (William Morrow), and of numerous hit television shows including The Rockford Files, The A-Team, Wiseguy and Silk Stalkings.
